Aurora: Watering restrictions in effect starting yesterday

From The Denver Post:

Residents can pick any three days to water but no more than that. Also, watering is not permitted from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. because that is the part of day when water tends to evaporate more.

Aurora Water officials are encouraging people to get out their hoses and sprinklers, as more trees and lawns are dying this year because of the lack of moisture this winter.

  1. Why is the information on “Water Wisely This Summer” not posted on home page of Aurora Water. With new folks moving to Colorado, it is imperative they learn of water schedule or restrictions, BEFORE someone hands them a violation.

I received care in mail, but wanted copy or info for someone else, and had to research many websites to find this. Google Search listed more info from other states, then from Colorado, even when I specified Colorado.
